Bargaining teams for the Board and the DFA will be meeting on Monday, August 11 to continue talks. We remain committed to reaching a fair agreement at the bargaining table.
Should an agreement not be reached, a labour disruption is possible as early as next week. In the event of a labour disruption, whether it is a strike or a lock-out, there is a 48-hour notice that is required by the union or employer.
Throughout the negotiation process, the Board has made significant efforts to respond to the concerns raised by the DFA—particularly in the area of compensation.
We recognize the 17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß community has questions about how a labour disruption might affect them. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our Labour Relations website.
In the event of a disruption, 17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß will communicate promptly and widely with all faculty, staff, and students through this site, email, and other established channels.
