Bio:
Dr. Edward Olale is an Economist with the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries, New Brunswick Government. He has over 10 years experience in agricultural economic research. Some of the issues he has addressed include livelihood strategies among farming and fishing communities, economic impact of climatic change on agriculture, and economics of international food safety standards. His research is published in peer-reviewed journals such as Food Policy, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, Climatic Change, Regional Environmental Change, Journal of Development and Agricultural Economics, Fisheries Research, International Journal of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Journal of Soil and Water Conservation. In addition to economic research, Edward has taught courses in Agricultural Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Organization, and Quantitative Methods in various universities.
