Sept. 29 鈥 STU vs Dal AC
Women鈥檚 Soccer 鈥 Dal AC came out strong holding their own against one of the top teams in the ACAA. After being tied 1-1 for most of the game (Sian Rankin scored for the RAMS) the team eventually fell 2-1. This was an entertaining game to watch and the team should be very proud of their effort.
Men鈥檚 Soccer 鈥 The men followed up a tough game the night before with a phenomenal effort. STU was able to pull away in the end for a 4-1 victory but had to earn a tough victory against a RAMS team determined to pull off an upset. Austin Nelson again scored the lone goal for the home team.
Cross Country 鈥 Sept. 29
A rainy forecast quickly cleared up and provided an amazing venue for six teams (MSVU, Holland, USA, Mount A, Dal AC, and Crandall) who enjoyed running the beautiful Cobequid trail. 聽The Men鈥檚 team took home first place with Kieran Thornell continuing his dominant season as the overall winner of the race. The Dal AC Women placed 2nd with Chloe Toombs finishing a strong 4th overall. A special thank-you to Legge Health for providing pre and post race treatment to our athletes, the Bible Hill Recreation Department who allowed us use of the park and Keltie Jones who made a guest appearance this weekend!
