Beginning February 2022, Extended Learning will be offering Emergency First Aid Training sessions with instructor Emily Blacklock. These sessions are open to faculty, staff and students.
Dates
Tuesday, February 22nd – Emergency First Aid (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
Wednesday, February 23rd – Emergency First Aid (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)Â
All sessions will take place in Room 254 of Haley Institute with a maximum of 10 people per session. Further dates will be added as needed.

Emergency First Aid - $84 per person
Details
Emergency First Aid: This course is recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. Emergency First Aid: Includes CPR-C certification (Adult, Baby and Child CPR). Emergency First Aid is for people who require a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: victim assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking, respiratory emergencies (allergies, hyperventilation and asthma), managing severe bleeding, heart attack and stroke, abdominal injury, burns and facial injuries.Â
