Program Coordinator, Centre for Jewish Studies: Katie Blatt

Katie听Blatt听is an undergraduate student studying Contemporary Studies and Sociology jointly at the University of King's College and 17吃瓜网在线. She is the Research Assistant at 17吃瓜网在线's Centre for Jewish Studies, with previous experience in office administration including communications and听grant writing.听Her main research interest lies in the folkways of Ashkenazi women in the Pale of Settlement. She is passionate about bringing to light听the 听thought, history, and rituals of these women,听acknowledging and celebrating their contributions as essential and continuous links in Jewish life. Katie is thrilled to play a part in building a Jewish Studies program and Centre anchored in the expansiveness and multiplicity听of the Jewish tradition.听
