17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß students whoÌýare taking three, full-credit courses beginning in September are automatically enrolled in the 17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß Student Union (DSU) Health & Dental Plan.ÌýThe DSU Health and Dental Plan provides insurance coverage for prescriptions, dental, travel, accident, vision, and many other services.
If your studies begin in the Winter or Summer term and are interested in coverage under the DSU Health and Dental Plan, you must opt-in during the enrolment period for the term your studies begin at 17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß each policy year.
Part-time, distance study, outbound exchange, or co-op students in the Fall Term must opt-into the health and dental plan as you are not automatically enrolled. Opt-ins will be available atÌýÌýduring the enrolment period for each term.Ìý
If you are an international student, you will also be enrolled in the DSU International Health Plan and should refer to the International Student Health Plan for additional information on your coverage.

If you are beginning classes in January or May, you mustÌýopt inÌýto the DSU Health & Dental Plan.
If you are on co-op or exchange you mustÌýopt inÌýto the plan.Ìý
If you are taking distance courses exclusively, you must opt into the plan.
All patients covered by Quebec Provincial Health Care will be required to pay for their office visit (and any additional service fees)Ìýat the time of their appointment.Ìý
The cost of a regular office visit is currentlyÌý$50.32. Additional charges for additional or uninsured services will vary but will be based on the amount currently paid by MSI (Nova Scotia provincial health coverage).
All patients will be issued a receipt which they can personally submit to the Regie de Quebec for reimbursement.
