Join Access Advisors, staff, and fellow students for a relaxed, informative session that will help you start your university journey feeling confident, prepared, and connected. Whether you’re coming straight from high school or just want to learn more, this is your space to ask questions, hear real stories, and get set up for success.

The Able@Dal Family & Friends Session is designed to help parents, family, and other supports confidently support their student as they transition to university with academic accommodations. Led by Access Advisors, students, and members of the campus support team, this session provides a clear overview of how accommodations work, what students can expect, and how they collaborate with an Access Advisor to create a personalized plan. You’ll hear real student perspectives, learn how supports are accessed, and gain practical strategies to encourage your student’s independence while supporting their success throughout their first year, all while connecting to 17³Ô¹ÏÍøÔÚÏß’s supportive campus community.
