What to Expect
These peer-led tutoring session offer students the opportunity to drop-in for extra help with concepts and understanding in their course. Tutors do not reteach lecture materials or help students complete assignments, but can offer support through practice problems and learning study habits.听

Meet Your Tutor
My name is Rowen, and I am a second-year ultrasound student here in the health sciences. I took PHYC 1310 and PHYC 1320 last year, and so I have a good understanding of the current content in that course and how best to study for the tests, midterm, and final. My goal with these tutoring sessions would be to help you get ready for exams and tests by going over practice problems from the textbook or lecture materials, focusing on how to recognize what the problem is asking (i.e. what type of question are you looking at) and the step-by-step plan of how to solve said problem.听

At the end of the day, the goal is to reduce test stress by making you all confident in your prep, and I think that these tutoring sessions are a great way to do that! I attended them last year when I was taking this course, and found they were a great help in my studying, so I highly recommend them. Hope to see you soon! - Rowen
