Additional Costs

All disciplines in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program have associated additional costs. Students should prepare for and expect the following approximate expenses in addition to tuition, student fees, and textbooks. All costs are listed in CAD.

These costs are estimates and subject to change as they are set by indivudal organizations.

Basic Life Support/Standard First Aid*

*RESPIRATORY THERAPY STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THEIR CPR THROUGH THE HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION. NO OTHER CERTIFICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Additional costs for uniforms, registration exams, and student membership in professional associations vary by program. These amounts are all approximate:

Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound

  • Registry exam fees (3rd year): $1150 (Does not include any 4th year specialty certifications)

Nuclear Medicine Technology

  • Uniforms/lab coats/student pin: $200-$400
  • Membership in NSCMIRTP (1st year): $40
  • Registry exam (4th year): $1150 (Does not include specialty certifications)
  • Other: $40

Radiological Technology

  • Uniforms/lab coats/student pin: $200-$400

Respiratory Therapy
